Your SNAP benefits will be cut off on Nov. 1!
If we don’t eat, it’s because Trump and Republicans chose to starve America.
SNAP feeds nearly 42 million people every month. That’s about 1 in 8 Americans! This Saturday, food aid will be shut off.
Republicans have shut down the government, blocking healthcare for 22 million people and are refusing to release $6 billion in emergency food funds. That means SNAP benefits will stop on November 1 unless Congress acts.

Trump and Republicans are choosing to starve America.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture is refusing to release a $6 billion fund meant for emergencies like this one, even though they are legally required to release it. This is immoral and illegal.
The Trump Administration has also cancelled 94 million pounds of food aid to food banks, which are not equipped to fill the gap once SNAP benefits are shut off.
Additional Resources
For state-by-state estimates of how many people in each state rely on SNAP, see this resource.
Food banks are a critical resource for communities in need:

Our healthcare is also on the line.
At the same time families are losing food stamps, millions are being kicked off their healthcare.
With open enrollment for Affordable Care Act plans starting November 1, premium hike notices are already hitting mailboxes. If Congress doesn’t act, ACA tax credits will expire and premiums will skyrocket by up to 75%, pushing millions off their healthcare coverage.
